The tour begins in Nanaimo and from Nanaimo, we head out into the Salish Sea on a semi-covered vessel which will be your ride for the day. Our tour guarantees you that you will be spotting whales. Our office is located on Front Street on downtown Nanaimo's seawall.

The tour includes various things. We offer you a professional guide with academic background in marine biology and expert in his field. The Captain is certified by Transport Canada. We have Toilets onboard to provide our passengers the best comfort. We also provide Sunscreen and Binoculars onboard that will be shared between the guests.
About the tour
The tour begins as soon as you check in in our office. We advise you to check in atleast forty-five minutes’ prior the departure to respect the timings. After that all the passengers will head down towards the boat together as a group. As in the boat, you will be soon introduced to the stunning Salish Sea ecosystem and its wildlife. Cruise through the Gulf Islands archipelago in search of whales and other marine life and be ready to spot. Your guide will fill you in about the various types of whales that you will be spotting.
Not only this but he will also inform you about their natural history and other significant things. On this entire ride. The captain will stay in touch with other whale watching companies to fully plan your route in a way that it is maximized. You will spend your time on board watching these whales and observing their real time behavior. There are catalogues onboard that help in the identification of the whales that are being spotted during the ride. The tour will come to an end as you will be given an educational talk on marine conversation. This tour ends at the same meeting point.

1Whales Watching Tour4 Hours
Checking in at our office forty-five minutes prior to your scheduled departure time will kick off your day. After that, everyone will go down to the boat together. In search of whales and other marine life, you will then cruise through the Gulf Islands archipelago, where you will be introduced to the ecosystem and animals of the Salish Sea. You will discover the several kinds of whales that inhabit the Salish Sea, their natural history, and their functions within the marine food chain. Using a VHF radio, your captain will communicate with other whale watching businesses throughout the voyage, arranging your itinerary to cover as much ground as possible between vessels. Your marine naturalist will provide you real-time insights into the habits of the whales during the entire hour that you will be watching them. Individual whales are identified using onboard catalogues; information on these whales will be gathered all season long and forwarded to the BC Cetacean Sightings Network, Keta Coastal Conservation, and the Centre for Whale Research. An informative discussion on marine conservation, with an emphasis on risks to British Columbian orcas, will conclude your trip. Conservation strategies will also be highlighted.

- You will not receive your money back if you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience begins.
- The local time of the experience determines the cutoff times.
- Less than 24 hours before to the experience's start time, modifications won't be permitted.
- Good weather is required for this encounter. In the event of inclement weather, you will receive a full refund or an alternative date.
- There is a minimum number of travelers needed for this activity. In the event that the minimum is not reached, you will receive a complete refund or an alternative date and/or experience.

Exceptionally bad traffic made the start later than would have liked but Shawn our driver was a brilliant host making sure we experienced all the features of the trip. Skylon Tower, the Sheraton Buffet, Niagara Falls, the whirlpool, Niagara on the Lake, the world’s smallest church and the wine tasting. Highly recommend and book it all you will not be disappointed.

We went with Shawn on our tour and from the very beginning he was very professional and courteous! Shawn was an excellent safe driver and we had a smooth trip and at all of our stops we had more than enough time to enjoy the sights! I would definitely take this tour again if I were in Toronto and didn’t want to drive and I highly recommend Shawn and his fine hospitality and kindness and great knowledge of the area. We had a great time! We are from British Columbia and have never been to Niagara so booking through tour beez was easy and they did all the planning, even small details like booking our Uber, providing links and times. Our tour guide, Shawn was extremely knowledgeable with the falls and also the surrounding area. He was so friendly and personable. Shawn was the tour guide of the day and he was absolutely fantastic! He’s super friendly and very informative. The tour allowed us to explore many sites including Niagara Falls, a scenic drive along Niagara parkway, a stop at Floral clock, and we finished with wine tasting at Niagara College. Would recommend this tour to anyone!
