Our one day custom trips are made for people who want to tour Niagara Falls their own way. Customers can choose pickup/dropoff times, places they wish to visit and how much time they want to spend at each attraction.

Private custom trips are perfect for:

People who prefer a late pickup time compared to a bus trip (which starts around 8:30 a.m.).
Corporate excursions and team building activities.
Families with young children who may want to skip the winery trip or do not want to be part of a bus trip.
Couples, families or friends looking for a fun outing with just their group.
People who want to visit places not on the itinerary of a standard bus trip (visit a casino, Haunted House in Clifton Hill).

Booking is fast, safe and easy.

Once the trip is booked, a NiagaraTrips representative will email you and create a tentative trip itinerary with pickup/dropoff times and attractions you would like to visit.

A 7-passenger car with driver/guide will be given to you exclusively for 9.5 hours. Be chauffeured around like a VIP to all the attractions you wish to see. To make your trip planning easier, we offer trip add-ons like Helicopter Trip tickets, Hornblower Boat Cruise tickets, and reservations at the Sheraton Fallsview Restaurant Buffet.

Please note: Customer pays for meals (unless purchased as an add-on) and entrance fees to any attractions visited. The trip schedule given below is just an example of where you could go on a one-day trip. With a custom trip, the attractions you visit are completely upto you!

Pickup for Custom Tour

Your Small Group One Day Custom Tour begins with pickup from anywhere in the Greater Toronto Area (Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, etc.) or from a Niagara Falls hotel or specified pickup location in one of our meticulously maintained luxury vehicles. Pickup time is upto you.

Niagara Falls

Arrive in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Spend some time viewing the Falls, it is absolutely free. After enjoying the view of Niagara Falls and Niagara River, you can head to a restaurant of your choice for lunch (lunch is not included in tour price).

Casino Niagara

If your group is comprised of only adults, you can head to Casino Niagara for some gambling. Try your luck at the slot machines and card games.

Winery Tour

Spend some time in the lovely town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. If you are a wine lover, you could visit a winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake (Niagara-on-the-Lake and winery tour are not included in tour price). Please call ahead to arrange winery tour.

Dropoff

At the end of the tour, you will be dropped off safe and sound at your hotel in Toronto or Niagara Falls.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Private Trips for vehicles which seat less than 14 passengers:

A refundable deposit of 20% is due upon registration. The remaining balance will be charged 3 days prior to the departure date.

If your trip is cancelled within 3 days of the departure date, no refund will be provided. If the trip is cancelled 3 or more days before your departure, full refund will be provided.

Private Trips for vehicles which seat more than 14 passengers:

A refundable deposit of 20% is due upon registration. The remaining balance will be charged 7 days prior to the departure date.

If your trip is cancelled within 7 days of the departure date, no refund will be provided. If the trip is cancelled 7 or more days before your departure, full refund will be provided.

You are responsible for arriving on time to your Niagara Falls Private Trip. The pickup vehicle will usually wait for a few minutes; however, if you arrive late and miss the trip, NO REFUND will be provided. Niagara Trips will specify your pickup time and location through email.
If, for any reason your trip is cancelled (due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances), you will be notified as soon as possible and receive a FULL REFUND to your credit card or any other method of payment as applicable.
Rescheduling your trip to another date is free of charge.
To switch/edit your custom trip, you will have to pay the difference in the trip fee. There are no additional processing fees. If you are switching to a less expensive trip, Niagara Trips will refund the difference to your credit card.
In the rare event of a vehicle breakdown all efforts will be made to continue the trip (another vehicle or vehicles may be sent to pick you up.) NO REFUND will be provided for any time lost on the trip or change in passenger vehicle. If the trip is cancelled due to vehicle breakdown Niagara Trips will be provide a full refund.

Yes, you can create your own itinerary. The itinerary above is only a suggestion, you can take your private trip, your way!

What are the pickup times?

That depends entirely on you! Most people are picked up between 9 and 11AM for private trips

Is it okay to tip the guide?

Yes, Tipping is always optional, if your time is enjoyable and want to thank your trip guide then gratuities are very much appreciated. 10% - 20% is the usual tip.

Do you offer trips in different languages?

All our guides speak English fluently and a licensed by the Niagara Parks Commission. If you require a trip in a different language, you may have to pay for a stand alone trip guide if you need a different language.

How much walking is on the trip?

The amount of walking depends entirely on you. Niagara-on-the-Lake is a beautiful, old town, there is quite a lot of walking there and also quite a few steps. Niagara Falls is a little more modern and accessible, however the amount you walk is related to the amount you want to see!

If you have ordered the Buffet Lunch Add-On or any other related service. There will be NO REFUND to your meal or activity if it does not meet your satisfaction.
