Make your Niagara Falls vacation unforgettable with this scenic 10-minute helicopter ride. The helicopter takes off from the vicinity of Niagara Whirlpool. Enjoy amazing views of the Niagara River and Niagara Gorge. As the helicopter heads upstream, you will see the American, Bridal Veil and Horseshoe Falls. You can take as many photographs as you like. Spot many iconic landmarks like Skylon Tower.
Arrive at the Niagara Falls Heliport on Victoria Avenue, just across Whirlpool Rapids. You can take photos before takeoff. Experienced ground crew ensures passengers are safely secured before takeoff.
See the Niagara Whirlpool which was formed some 4,200 years ago by upstream erosion. The Whirlpool is 125 feet at its deepest point. You can catch a glimpse of the Whirlpool Aero Car making its way over the Whirlpool.
As the helicopter flies further upstream along the Niagara River, you can view the turbulent whitewater rapids rushing through a narrow part of the Niagara Gorge. Close to the rapids is the landmark Rainbow Bridge, an arch bridge connecting Niagara Falls USA and Niagara Falls, Ontario.
Next you will see the American and Bridal Veil Falls. The American and Bridal Veil Falls are two waterfalls that are a part of Niagara Falls. They are located entirely on US territory.
Horseshoe Falls is the third waterfall forming Niagara Falls. Approximately 90% of the water in Niagara River flows over the Canadian Horseshoe Falls. If you are lucky, you can see rainbows form over Horseshoe Falls. You can also view the upper Niagara rapids.
You can view some of Niagara Falls’ major attractions such as Skylon Tower, Niagara Fallsview Casino and Niagara SkyWheel from the helicopter.
Land safely back at the helipad. The helicopter ride will perhaps be the most exciting part of your Niagara Falls tour and leave you with some cherished memories and a camera with lots of amazing photos.
You can receive a full refund if you cancel your tour at least 24 hours before its start time.
If you decide to cancel your experience less than 24 hours before its start time, you will not be eligible for a refund of the amount you paid.
Changes made to your experience less than 24 hours before its start time will not be accepted.
The cut-off times for cancellations and changes are based on the local time of the experience (Eastern Standard Time).
This tour requires a good weather. If it is cancelled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of either rescheduling for a different date or you can receive a full refund.
No reservation is necessary. Seating is first-come, first-serve basis. For families or individuals, we recommend that you call before you come to make sure that we are flying.
What are the hours of operation?Open 364 days a year, though hours of operation do vary (usually from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm), 7 days a week (weather permitting). Unfortunately, the helicopters do not fly after dark or in low cloud conditions.
Each of our helicopters seats seven passengers plus the pilot for a total of eight people.
How often do the helicopters take off?Every 2 – 10 minutes depending on how many passengers are waiting.
What is the approximate wait time between flights?Usually between 15 and 25 minutes.
How many helicopters can you have running at one time?There can be up to four helicopters running at one time. The number of passengers waiting in the line determines how many aircraft we have running.
What is the minimum age for a helicopter ride?All ages from 1 month to 100 years are welcome for our helicopter sightseeing trip.

Wheelchair accessFor passengers with mobility issues, a wheelchair ramp and lift provide access to the helicopters. Niagara Helicopters Limited staff is experienced and will assist all guests in boarding the helicopter.

Do customers with advance booking need to wait in line when they arrive?Yes. The typical wait time is 10-30 minutes, but it can be up to 30-60 minutes during peak season. Niagara Helicopters Limited does its best to control the bookings to keep the wait time down to a minimum. Please note reservations are given priority.
