Being on a Really Gay History Tour in Vancouver will prove to be a highly fascinating tour of your life. A journey that unveils a vibrant, rich and fresh side of the city that you have no idea every existed! Led by our professional and charismatic guide Glenn Tkach, the tour takes you on the unique walk over the rainbow brick streets of the city’s storied past. If you every thought that you know everything about the city of Vancouver, then this tour can surprise you.

You get a captivating glance at Vancouver’s undercurrent of human rights milestones, queer activism, vibrant communities and scandalous scandals that have completely shaped this city over decades.

Walking over Davie Village Street popularly called as Gay Village of Vancouver, you will get to see how a normal city street turns in a haven for self-expression and freedom, painted in colorful graffiti and shining fairy lights. Our walk across the Comox Streets will make you realize how much important these surroundings were and still continue to foster LGBTQ+ culture in Vancouver City.

With Gay Vancouver Tour, you get to visit some of the hidden places like the police raids sites, cabarets of 20th century and secret bars, not just does this tour pull back its curtain on the victories and struggles of Vancouver’s LGBTQ+ community, but reminds us that our history is not always so monochromatic as we think it to be. It paints in a million hues and shades, very much like a pride flag itself.

The Vancouver Gay Adventure tour offers a lot more than only entertainment. The tour educates, enlightens, and breaks the stereotypes, encouraging participants to step outside the comfort zones. The tour concludes at the Davie Street village, but the realization hit me hard – the really gay history isn’t just the history of LGBTQ+ people, it is a part of Vancouver’s cultural and social DNA. Go ahead and book the tour, to see Vancouver city as you have never seen it before.

Exceptionally bad traffic made the start later than would have liked but Shawn our driver was a brilliant host making sure we experienced all the features of the trip. Skylon Tower, the Sheraton Buffet, Niagara Falls, the whirlpool, Niagara on the Lake, the world’s smallest church and the wine tasting. Highly recommend and book it all you will not be disappointed.

We went with Shawn on our tour and from the very beginning he was very professional and courteous! Shawn was an excellent safe driver and we had a smooth trip and at all of our stops we had more than enough time to enjoy the sights! I would definitely take this tour again if I were in Toronto and didn’t want to drive and I highly recommend Shawn and his fine hospitality and kindness and great knowledge of the area. Shawn loves the Niagara region and knows it well and truly loves it here and that helps make his tour exceptional!

We had a great time! We are from British Columbia and have never been to Niagara so booking through tour beez was easy and they did all the planning, even small details like booking our Uber, providing links and times. Our tour guide, Shawn was extremely knowledgeable with the falls and also the surrounding area. He was so friendly and personable. He even added on a couple extra stops whenever time was saved along the way. I will 💯 recommend Tour Beez to friends and family!

Shawn was the tour guide of the day and he was absolutely fantastic! He’s super friendly and very informative. The tour allowed us to explore many sites including Niagara Falls, a scenic drive along Niagara parkway, a stop at Floral clock, and we finished with wine tasting at Niagara College. Would recommend this tour to anyone!
